This Refund Policy sets out the terms under which purchases made on CQCLogic (cqclogic.co.uk and app.cqclogic.co.uk), operated by CQCLogic Ltd, may be refunded or cancelled.
Summary: Personalised improvement plans are non-refundable once generated and accessed — we offer a quality guarantee instead. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with no further charges. Contact us at hello@cqclogic.co.uk if you have any concerns.
1. One-time improvement plans (Recovery Core, RI Core, Good Core)
Our improvement plans are personalised digital products generated specifically for your CQC-registered service using your actual inspection data. Because the plan is created and delivered to your account immediately upon purchase, and the service is substantially performed at the point of generation, one-time plan purchases are non-refundable once your plan has been generated and accessed.
This position is consistent with Regulation 13 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which provides that the statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply to digital content where delivery has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right to cancel is lost.
We do not offer a money-back guarantee on improvement plans. Instead, we offer a quality and revision guarantee:
1.1 Quality guarantee
If your personalised improvement plan does not address the specific concerns raised in your most recent CQC inspection report, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will revise the plan at no additional charge. We are confident in the quality of our plans because they are generated directly from your CQC inspection data — if we have missed something, we will fix it.
To request a revision, email hello@cqclogic.co.uk with your account email, order reference, and details of the specific findings you believe have not been addressed. We aim to deliver a revised plan within three business days.
1.2 Technical failure
If your improvement plan fails to generate due to a technical error on our side, we will either regenerate it at no additional charge or issue a full refund. This applies regardless of when the failure occurred.
2. Compliance Tracker subscriptions
The Compliance Tracker is a monthly subscription service. You may cancel at any time.
2.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard under Settings > Billing, or by contacting us at hello@cqclogic.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to your subscription features until that date. No further charges will be applied after cancellation.
2.2 Refunds on subscriptions
Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable. We do not issue partial refunds for unused days within a billing period. If you cancel, you will not be charged for the following month.
Exception: if you have not accessed the subscription features at all since your most recent charge and you contact us within 7 days of that charge, we will consider a refund of that payment at our discretion.
3. Bundle plans
Bundle plans combine a one-time Core plan charge with a recurring monthly Compliance Tracker subscription. The following applies to each component separately:
- The one-time Core plan charge is governed by section 1 above (non-refundable once the plan is generated and accessed)
- The subscription component is governed by section 2 above (cancel-anytime, no partial refunds)
4. Duplicate payments
If you are charged twice for the same product due to a payment processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full immediately upon identification. Please contact us at hello@cqclogic.co.uk if you believe you have been charged in error.

6. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal use rather than in a business capacity), you may have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 that differ from those set out in this policy. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit rights you have under applicable UK law. If you believe your statutory rights have not been respected, you may contact the Citizens Advice consumer helpline or the Competition and Markets Authority.
