Terms of Service

The rules governing your use of CQCLogic.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CQCLogic website (cqclogic.co.uk) and platform (app.cqclogic.co.uk), operated by CQCLogic Ltd (“CQCLogic”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using CQCLogic, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Important: CQCLogic provides intelligent automation tools to assist with CQC compliance planning. Our improvement plans are generated from publicly available inspection data and are intended to support — not replace — professional compliance advice. We are not a regulated compliance consultancy and our plans should not be relied upon as legal or regulatory advice.

1. Who we are

2. Our services

CQCLogic provides:

  • Automated CQC improvement plan generation based on your inspection data
  • Task management tools for tracking improvement actions
  • Evidence upload and management features
  • Inspection history timelines and re-inspection predictors
  • Mock inspection question banks and benchmarking tools
  • Team collaboration and daily digest features

The availability of specific features depends on the plan you have purchased. Features are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

3. Accounts and access

3.1 Creating an account

You may access certain features of CQCLogic using a magic link sent to your email address. No password is required. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for all activity that occurs through your CQCLogic access.

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CQCLogic. By using our services you confirm that you have the authority to bind the organisation you represent to these Terms.

3.3 Account suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or use our services in a way that could cause harm to us or others.

4. Plans and payment

4.1 One-time purchases

Core plans (Recovery Core, RI Core, Good Core) are one-time purchases. Payment is due at the time of purchase. Your improvement plan will be generated within 24 hours of confirmed payment.

4.2 Subscriptions

Compliance Tracker and Bundle subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard.

4.3 Pricing and VAT

All prices shown on our website are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT at the applicable rate will be added at checkout. We reserve the right to change our prices with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

4.4 Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe’s terms of service. We do not store your card details.

5. Refunds and cancellation

Our refund policy is set out in full in our Refund Policy. In summary:

  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans
  • One-time purchases may be refunded within 30 days of purchase
  • Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use CQCLogic to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Submit false or misleading information about your service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s account
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data from our platform
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our platform
  • Resell or redistribute our plans or content without our written permission
  • Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights

7. Intellectual property

7.1 Our intellectual property

CQCLogic, including its software, design, content, and improvement plan methodology, is owned by CQCLogic Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

7.2 Your content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to CQCLogic (such as evidence documents and care records). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it for the purpose of providing our services to you.

7.3 Improvement plans

Improvement plans generated for your service are licensed to you for your own internal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or present them as your own original work to third parties.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

CQCLogic is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that:

  • Our improvement plans will guarantee a specific CQC rating outcome
  • Our re-inspection timeline predictions will be accurate in every case
  • The platform will be available without interruption or error
  • Our plans constitute professional legal, regulatory, or compliance advice

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CQCLogic Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CQCLogic, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of CQCLogic after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
